So, I am doing a switch on the order of my books for release dates (sorry for those who were waiting on The Message this year!) I want to finish A Band of Dogs while my son is still young (I should have written it before now). Here is how things will play out:
A Band of Dogs - Christmas 2024
The Marsh Adventures: Generations Lost (early 2025)
The Message (Summer 2025?)
Napolean and Elizabeth (2025?)
Mirror Friend - I haven't posted anything on this one, but it is moving up...it may be a 2025 book
As I only write quality books, I only plan to release 2-3 books a year. As I was talking to someone recently, "Writing the book isn't the hard part, I can spin up a story over night...writing a quality book so that everything connects and links together - that is what takes time." So, for 2025, Generations Lost and The Message are definite "Go's"...beyond that, it may change up again.
As of right now, I have 60 synopses of about 3 pages or more on book notes for stories I want to write, and I add to this as ideas come to me.
I think I will let Roosevelt bask in how The Sun Also Sets ended for now but look for the second book in the Roosevelt series, The Last of the Lion Hunters, to come out in 2026.
Let me know, between The Marsh Adventures: Of Times and Places and The Sun Also Sets - which one would you be most interested in the sequel? (Grant it, the next Marsh Adventures will be a prequel, for the record.)
